Your Post has been pretty busy on Saturday mornings since mid-February. Nearly a dozen veterans and their family members have met with one of two accredited service officers to get advice and assistance in obtaining their VA Disability benefits. Your Post Service Officer, Linda Schorn, has been working closely with these service officers and they are looking forward to ensuring Bothell Post 127 provides the highest level of professional advocacy to all veterans and their families in the local area. Bothell American Legion Post #127 would like to congratulate Sons of the American Legion (SAL) Bothell Squadran Commander David Larkin on his nomination, selection and acceptance into the class of 2017 Unites State Naval Academy! Thank-you for not only serving our active duty and veterans through the Sons of the American Legion but willingness to be trained at the highest levels to serve with them and our country.
Since our charter in 1920, our American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS and their families from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble.
Bothell Squadron S.A.L. is back and looking for new members.
After a lot of hard work and paper work galore, S.A.L. Squadron 127 is back up and running at the Bothell Post. If you are the son or stepson, grandson or step grandson of a current American Legion Post member or of a deceased Veteran who served in WWI, WWII, Korean Conflict, Viet Nam wars etc. you are eligible to be come a S.A.L. member (see additional information below).
